I was over at my friends house today, her little boy has pneumonia. So I thought I would just make a quick little card for him. He didn't care about the card(since he's only 2 yrs old.) but I thought would be cute. I even made my own little rubber stamp. It is the background rain drops. I used old rubber from the stamps that you buy from Stampin' Up and used a raindrop punch. Viola you have a new stamp. It worked better then I thought it would. I am trying to have a little more time to myself because I have two young boys and they take up most of my time. So I am trying some new projects to keep myself entertained. I have been wanting to try to make my own stamps for a while now but never knew how to do it. I would still like to try to figure out how to make the actually rubber stamp with my own design that would be really wild to do. If you have any idea or know how to make your own stamp let me know I would love to hear from you
Have a great weekend. Hope to write something before then but I have a busy weekend. Cross your fingers for me. See you then.

Baby Shower

So I was looking through peoples blogs one night and I saw these. I have been trying to figure out how to use the Riot of Petals stamp set from Stampin' Up. When I came across someones baby shower cards. They look almost exactly to these. These are the ones I made . I wish I knew who's cards they originally were. I am sorry to whoever you are I would love to give you credit. But I love them. I changed a couple of things but not much. I still love them. I send them out to a couple of showers that I missed this spring. I hope I get another opportunity to make them for more people. love them

I wanted something simple yet cute for my step daughters 18Th birthday. I used creamy caramel and used VersaMark for the cupcake image for the background (which usually I am not satisfied with). I used tulip puffy fabric paint for the red icing. Cut it out and used dimensionals for the cupcake. The saying says "treat yourself to a wonderful day! I looks a little flat in the picture, but it has a nice pop to it in real life. I think it's a good match for a girl's 18Th birthday. I just got this set and haven't had the chance to use it yet. I think I am getting better at this blogging LOL. hopefully I will be able to find more time to make cards and show them off.
thanks again

birthday

I finally made it back here. I have been super busy not to sure on what I have been doing but it sure didn't seem like a lot of fun. I have a bad picture of this card. I tried to do a clean and simple but my picture doesn't do it justice. I made it for my mommie in law for her birthday. It seems to be more wedding like then what I thought it would be. When I saw it at her home the other day. I thought wedding.... Oh well I guess everything is 20/20 in hind sight. I need to work on my photos. Now that the weather is nice I guess my new task will be to try to figure out what I am doing wrong.
thanks for looking
