Here is my photo of my anniversary card to my husband. Which of course was made, but I gave to him late in my true style. Good thing I make the cards could you imagine if I had to go buy one. No one would ever get a card. LOL.
It is not as good of a photo as I originally thought. But it was the best way you could see what I did to it. I have versa marked hearts on the black cardstock. In the corner you can't tell I have punched a hole through the front page so that the heart and circle is actually popping out. (again the photo doesn't show but it looks better in person then in my photo. I have been wanting to do a black and pink theme. I love how the pink pops off of the black. I think I am going to retake this picture. You can't see really anything that I like about this card except the versa mark hearts. I will re edit this soon.

I love this I bought this set from Michael's this weekend and thought I would try to watercolour.

All I can say LOVE IT............................

I made the little dress and used dimensionals to make it pop. I also heat embossed the outlining of the body ...So cute and it could go as a cute Bday card for a 2yr old girl or a 40 yr. old girl. all you need is the right caption. Viola ... Hopefully I will be able to be creative with the little boy stamp that matches this set, really soon. I have got some idea already ..

So here I am again. I have been trying to block out my world. Just to keep my sanity. This week has been crazy already and it's only Tuesday. Anyways..... to keep my sanity I have made a couple of cards. Of course in my true nature I have missed another bday. So I thought I would whip up a simple elegant card since none of us are spring chickens so instead of a joke about our age. I thought something sweet and classy and I am still following my try something different or haven't done in a while challenge. So I used the kind thought set and used watercolour. With only a touch of colour. It came out better then I thought I also used water colour paper. I have been hankering to try textured paper and this is the best I could come up with. So here it is Happy bday DD.

HI! It feels like I haven't been keeping up on my blog. I tried the other day while the kids were having a nap and as soon as the picture uploaded the boys woke up. Just my luck so here we are.

So as I was saying in my last blog that I was going to try to challenge myself to try new and old techniques. So here is my go at it. I saw the baby shoes on splitcoaststampers (SCS) not to long ago (not sure who did the orginal idea). But I couldn't get it out of my mind so it work out perfectly, a friend of mind had a baby girl a little over a week ago. The first girl out of all of my friends since ..... well I started having kids anyways.

Well as I mentioned before just as you sit down on of the babies wakes up. Just like clock work.

So how I challenged myself was. I used old technique on the background and colour that I haven't used much, and new using punches to creates the little baby booties. I think it very cute. I like this card. If I do say so myself.

So I think I am going to try this again and see how it works out. I have a few ideas I just need to see what mood hits me to try something different. And see what happens.
