My friend had recently announced to everyone at work that she is pregnant. It's too early to find out if it's a boy or a girl. I tried to make it a little neutral but to me it says girl but that is okay' It's a baby and it can be cute.
I have learned that I am not the best photographer you can't really see that I dry embossed a pattern on the purple cs.
People plse help ..Any tips on photography??????

I am not sure on how I feel about this one. I think I should have stamped a pattern on the purple cs. I think it may have had the pop I am looking for. I still like it it's just missing something.

As I mentioned before that Ang. (Ink and a Smile) had a beautiful gold and Brown card. I thought I would try and go with. I looked and I thought and here it is. It has this bedroom wallpaper feel to it. But that doesn't bother me. I have never used gold before I would usually try to shy away. But being the brave girl that I am I went at it.
I do have to say I love this new clear stamp set I bought Inkadinkado from Micheal's they have them on sale and well you know what happens next. I have a couple others that I still have to try out but I keep going back to this set. It just looks so elegant. So don't be shy let me know what you think. I am starting to get lonely on this thing almost like I am talking to myself. LOL
thanks for looking

Very vanilla, chocolate chip, more mustard, and satin ribbon. I needed to make a quick card for a man's birthday that was nice, very fast and still manly, Even with the ribbon think pulled it off. I love the style of ribbon I used. I hope that he likes it. I think I may try it as a smaller size card next time.
I have been using a lot of clear stamps (which I have been afraid of so some reason). I really like them I had problems with the ink stamp nicely, but once I found if I used a fine nail file and rub it over the stamp. It roughs up the stamp to a fine porous surface and the ink stamps nicely. I find it works. I would not have guessed that this was a clear stamp.

I have been working on these invites for my son's third birthday. I tried and tried to do a cute dinosaur. A friend lent me a great stamp set. I got them all stamped out and started to colour them but I just couldn't do it then I saw my younger son's pj's and thought what a great card and I ran to Micheal's and Ta Da... my version of the pattern off the pj's

I spent over a week trying to create a card but I couldn't pull it off so what I am doing is using it to make a little colouring book and name tags for the kids. I do love this card. I just have to mail them out. I was worried that I couldn't make the card cute with dinosaur bones but I think it's very cute. The best thing about it is that my son loves them too. Which make me happy too.

I noticed that a lot of the sites has been using a source of inspiration such as pictures or something that they really like So here is my go at it. I was following my youngest son up the stairs and I was having a lot of problems creating my older sons bday invites. I looked down and saw his Dinosaur pj's. It's amazing on where you can get get ideas from. I think the card turned out very similar.

I made this card the other day for a friend that I work with that is sick. I thought it would cheer her up very simple. I used Artfully Asian stamp set ,regal rose cs and ribbon I tilted the center a little just to make it a little off set. You can't tell in the photo but I used the same stamp and stamped a background pattern on the regal rose cs in white and of course my favourite chocolate chip cs for the main card. . I keep trying something a little new and I really am inspired. I was looking at Ink and a smile blog and Ang has a beautiful chocolate chip and gold heat embossed card. Very inspired I hope I can find time this weekend very classy.... Thanks Ang...

Hi some of the ladies that were asking for the template of the wedding invite on my gallery (SCS). Sorry it is the only way I could figure out how to send it to you. I hope it helps.
The invite was not hard to make. It did take a lot of time to do. I had the bridal party help so that we could get it done quickly and it work fine. Some girls cut the flowers, stamp the images, heat embossed, some, glues the pieces together. The bride and I were the only two that hard experience so we did the cutting and folding I did find that after all the info was inside it was very tight in the envelope. I also had an extremely hard time with the RSVP card bc I could not get the computer to line up properly. I would Suggest stamping something on the front and the inside. ( I bought the Micheal's value pack for the RSVP cards and envelops to fit).
I made around 50-60 and I did not have a large cutter so I had to do them by hand. I do suggest the scor pal.
thanks for the interest if you have anymore question plse feel free to let me know

I guess I have been doing a little more then I have thought. I just haven't been able to put them on my blog. I have another little favors that I made so easy. All you nee is a takeout container. (I bought mine 3 for a dollar at the dollar store). I punched out a little butterfly for the center. I used my so many scallops set and used my crimper (and shredder) for the turquoise filler inside. I used a little zip lock bag and filled it with jelly beans. wrapped it with a nice ribbon. glued the flower to the ribbon and we are done.

I have been making little favors lately to place as little extras for people that buy my stuff. This is a tea bag holder. The tempting turquoise strap slides off and I used an envelope and cut it in half vertically so the individually wrapped tea bags just slide in. I used sip by sip, warm words, and seeing spots stamp sets. TA DA easy peasy it's done. I did about 10 of them in less the an hour. Just how I like it .

My family and I had a Christmas in July. We had a nice BBQ and a little cake. Which being very funny I put Merry Christmas on the cake. Only the girls thought it was funny. I made this card for my Aunt as a thank you / Christmas card. I stole the sketch and colours from someone I am sorry I am not sure who but you know who you are. I used certainly celery and so saffron and of course rose ribbon all su stuff. I also used a new stamp set I bought not to long ago called To you and yours. You can't tell in the photo, but it does have dazzling diamond glitter on the dusting behind the dove. I tried for the first time embossing the pattern on the white cardstock. Which is very easy and surprisingly I quite like. I love to try to make my own pattern backgrounds. so in my humble opinion I think this card is a success. thanks for looking
